Topic 2: Planning for Home Care Medicaid: A Deep Dive

Description: Most of us who work with older adults know that accessing home care through Medicaid can be a complicated and sometimes overwhelming process. Join us for a deep dive into how clients who need home care can plan and prepare to apply for Medicaid. This session will include a review of the eligibility requirements for Medicaid, discuss excess resource and income strategies through the lens of two sample client case studies and cover the importance of considering estate recovery when planning to apply for Medicaid.
