Description: Affordable housing is such a critical issue for so many New Yorkers. During our May BOTG meeting, Stonewall Community Development Corporation (SCDC) will share with us about NYC’s new Affordable Housing Application portal, “Housing Connect 2.0”, which was launched in July of 2020. They’ll also provide an overview of the application process, how to assess a client's eligibility, and where to refer clients in need of additional support.

SCDC will also share about the virtual community center they launched at the end of 2019, called “Stonewall Village NYC”. We’ll learn some of SCDC’s best practices related to virtual program organization by highlighting their replicable contract deliverables reporting system and consortium approach.
