LiveOn NY will provide an overview of the various opportunities to provide public testimony in the community at City Council hearings. LiveOn will work with our cohort to draft and present testimony in their own language and what to expect at hearings. We will also include letter writing, social media and phone campaigns and provide a “mock meeting” with an elected official. We will incorporate Reframing Aging principles and language throughout all our work on the project, but specifically focus on the Reframing Aging language and tools in the skill-building sessions.
