Description: The aging service field is no stranger to burnout, particularly over the last two years of the pandemic. Empathy fatigue and exhaustion — which so many professionals have been experiencing — can hinder our capacity to serve. In this thought-provoking session, Compassion It will teach us to recognize the signs of burnout and empathy fatigue, learn new ways to practice self-compassion, and inspire us to rethink how we serve our communities, understanding that there is power in practicing daily compassionate actions and attitudes.
Intended Audience: All aging service professionals (Please note: This session has a maximum capacity of 100 attendees)
